Job Description

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi in Himachal Pradesh is seeking applications for the positions of Professor and Associate Professor.     • Associate Professor in English Literature (Comparative Indian Literature) and Sociology (Sociology of Infrastructure, Sociology of Himalayan Region).

    • Professor and Associate Professor in Business and Data Analytics, AI-Based Business Decision Making, Business Statistics and Actuarial Science, Marketing Management.

IIT Mandi Recruitment 2025 for Professor and Associate Professor

Essential Qualifications:

  • For Professor:
    • Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the relevant branch/discipline.
    • At least 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, with 4 years at the level of Associate Professor in institutions of comparable standards.
    • Proven independent research experience with publications, patents, and guidance of Ph.D. students.
  • For Associate Professor:
    • Ph.D. with first class or equivalent in the relevant branch/discipline.
    • At least 6 years of teaching/research/professional experience, with 3 years at the level of Assistant Professor or equivalent.
    • Experience in independent research with a strong publication record and guidance of M.Tech/Ph.D. students.

Pay Scale:

  • Professor: Starting basic pay Rs. 1,59,100/-
  • Associate Professor: Starting basic pay Rs. 1,39,600/-
