Job Description

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), Tuljapur Campus, has released its Recruitment notification inviting applications from eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in various departments.

About the Institution

Established in 1987, TISS Tuljapur Campus works towards promoting sustainable and equitable development of rural communities. With a multidisciplinary approach, it offers academic programmes, field action, training, and research in rural development and social sciences.

The campus currently offers a five-year Integrated BA-MA Programme in Social Sciences and an MA in Social Work (Rural Development).

Qualifications Required

Sociology

  • Master’s degree in Sociology with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Social Work

  • Master’s degree in Social Work with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade).

Entrepreneurship / Management

  • Master’s degree in relevant disciplines like Entrepreneurship, Innovation, Business Management, or Finance with at least 55% marks.

Statistics / Social Sciences

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Demography, or Population Studies with at least 55% marks.

Note: Degrees must be from an Indian university or equivalent from an accredited foreign institution.
