Harvard Divinity School (HDS), located in Cambridge, Massachusetts, invites applications for an Adjunct Part-Time Instructor or Lecturer in Theology or Philosophy of Religion for the Fall Semester of the 2025–2026 academic year.

Job Title:

- Employment Type: Part-Time | Fall Semester Contract (August 1 – December 31, 2025)
Department Hiring:

Position Description:
- Teach one graduate-level course during Fall 2025 on the Harvard campus.
- Course content may reflect the candidate’s research expertise.
- Must be accessible and inclusive for a multi-religious student body.
- In-person instruction is required on HDS’s Cambridge campus.
Qualifications:
- PhD in a relevant field preferred; ABD considered
- Prior graduate-level teaching experience
- Sensitivity to teaching in a multi-faith academic environment
Desirable:
- A strong publication record in theology or philosophy of religion
