The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Meghalaya invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a research project funded by the Ministry of Education. Job Details

  • Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
  • Job Type: Temporary
  • Project Title: Design and Development of Intelligent Reflecting Surface for Ubiquitous Connectivity among IoT-Enabled Devices
  • Department: Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Job Location: Shillong, Meghalaya
  • Duration: Three years or until the closure of the project (whichever is earlier). Yearly performance evaluation will be conducted.
  • Salary: ₹37,000/- per month. Accommodation as per institute norms.

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications:

Candidates must meet any one of the following:

  • M.Tech./M.E. in RF and Microwave, Communication Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • M.Sc. with a valid GATE/NET qualification.
  • GATE-qualified candidates with B.Tech./B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering or related disciplines.
