Research Position Details

• Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
• Project Title: Real-time non-contact pulse vibration measurement system of radial artery for vata, pitta, and kapha diagnosis using CMOS camera
• Sponsoring Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India
• Job Location: National Institute of Technology, Agartala, Tripura

Essential Qualifications

Candidates must possess:

• Postgraduate Degree (M.E./M.Tech.) or Graduate Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
• Selection should be through:
  • National eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE.
  • National-level exams conducted by central government departments/agencies (DST, DBT, DAE, DRDO, etc.).

Desirable Qualifications

• Knowledge of image processing and hands-on experience in experimental fields related to the project.

Project Duration

• Initial contract for 1 year, extendable up to a maximum of 2 years, depending on the project’s completion.

Stipend

• First Year: ₹31,000 + HRA
• Last Year: ₹35,000 + HRA
